An English edition of J. Cruz Cano y Olmedilla’s map illustrating Spanish-Portuguese territorial disputes in South America, published in 1799. The original appeared in 1775 in Madrid, where Cano was long-standing cartographer to King Carlos III. Published by William Faden, royal geographer to George III, this later version contains the original explanatory text, key and abbrevations in Spanish.
